Peggy Seigle

During 2010, Ms. Seigle celebrates some fifty-two years in the legal profession, forty-five of those years with Wilhite & Lea, P.C., formerly George W. Wilhite & Associates, Inc. where she serves as the firm’s Administrator and Paralegal.
She is a four-term board member of the Houston Northwest Chamber of Commerce, which she has served as Treasurer, Special Projects Chairman, Membership Chairman, and Chairman of its Board of Directors. Under her leadership, Houston’s first International Cargo Conference was staged at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport. She brought national recognition to our area as the nation’s top Chamber Membership producer and she remained in the top twenty list for four consecutive years.
Ms. Seigle has been honored as a Citizen of the Year in Northwest Houston. She holds the distinction of being the first woman in the State of Texas appointed as a chaplain to an all male, maximum-security facility within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, an appointment she held for three years.
She has volunteered with the American Heart Association, Performing Arts League, served on the Foundation Board and Business Industry Council for the Lone Star College, formerly North Harris Montgomery College District, and served on the Board and as a Friend of the Klein Education Foundation.
Ms. Seigle has been listed among 2000 Notable American Women and honored by People Scene magazine as a community leader. Ms. Seigle is a lifetime honorary member of Junior Guild, a service organization of young ladies from the tenth through the twelfth grades. For a number of years she annually served as the Mistress of Ceremonies at the “Yellow Rose Ball” and presented the Junior Guild debutantes.
